How to prepare for a soul + spirit reading:
**In a soul + spirit reading sometimes the focus will be fully on soul, fully on spirit, or a blend of the two depending on what is needed for you in the moment. The intention of these readings is to offer you validation, healing, clarity and insight on your path.
If we don't get to have a little chat with your loved ones during your reading, please do know that they are always around you. There is only so much we can get to in the 60 minutes we have together. Come with the trust that whatever is needed in that moment is what was meant to be. There is always another opportunity for us to chat again or for you to see another practitioner that you will receive something else from. Us mediums are all different in the way that we read.

1. Come with an open heart and mind.
This is the best way to receive from spirit. I recommend personally connecting with your loved ones in spirit and asking them to be with you for our session together.
Thank you for talking to your loved ones in advance, it is my deepest wish to connect with who you hope to hear from the most but also understanding that spirit runs the show.
It's best to come to your session with no expectations, to then be surprised. The connections Jenny makes are all about resonance, ability and timing.

2. Will spirit answer the questions that I have?
It's so important to not have any expectations of WHO may come through and also what evidence they may bring forward. You may want to hear from someone specific, but the Spirit World will organize who you may need to hear from. It's just so important to have an open mind and heart to the reunion. Every medium is different and I may not be the medium for you if you are looking for facts like their address (I'm not there yet-- maybe when I'm an old lady medium lol) or a specific answer to a question. I will however lead with the intention of bringing the essence and evidence through of your loved ones in spirit.
During the reading the medium is always honoring what the spirit communicator wants to say in the short time we have together. Spirit sees the bigger picture. They will know what we need to hear not necessarily what we want to hear.
3. Do not feed the medium.
I ask that you please refrain from providing any personal information before or during our session together. I know you may get excited and want to share more but try to keep it at a minimum.

4. I cannot guarantee which of your loved ones come to share messages with you.
Unfortunately there can be no guarantees as Jenny is always completely led by spirit. Spirit comes with their own plan in mind.
Even though we often want to hear from certain individuals, it is important to know Jenny has no control over the spirit world. Any one of your friends and family members may come through. There is always a higher purpose for this that we often don't know the reasoning behind. The best thing to do is trust the process and the timing. Spirit sees the bigger picture regarding who needs to connect to you and the evidence and messages shared.

5. Can my loved ones in spirit share a code word?
If you're expecting to hear a code word from your loved ones in spirit, do not be surprised if this does not happen in our time together. That's not how all mediumship works. If I personally don't have a reference for this in my repertoire, you may in fact be let down by that expectation. Again, come with an open heart and mind.

6. Understanding the information that I am offering to you:
With all readings, sometimes small portions of the information I bring forward won't make sense at the time. It is very common, however, you might understand the information within the next few days. So keep the information with you and be open to receiving and understanding after the reading is complete.

*If you genuinely cannot place any information or feel that we are not making any progress by 10 minutes into the reading, I will terminate the reading at that point and offer you a full refund.

7. Jenny reserves the right to cancel your session at any moment.
If this is the case, you will be refunded the full amount of your session.

8. Jenny does not predict your future.
There are always potentials that may manifest in your life. At the end of the day you make all of your own decisions and have free will.

9. How are sessions provided?
Sessions are done live via zoom, a link will be sent you prior to your booking. If you would like your session recorded pls notify Jenny prior to your session. She can give you access to record on your own computer.

Download the free zoom to your computer or device if you don’t already have it installed. I recommend you downloading the app rather than using it on your browser. You will want to sign in at least 5-10 minutes early (in the case that you may have technical difficulties or experience trouble logging on you'll want to be ready ahead of time).

10. Are you like the Long Island Medium or Tyler Henry who are on TV?
The mediums that are on TV are highly edited. You get to see their best moments. My style of mediumship is different than theirs. We are all individuals and the way we express mediumship will always be different. This is why it's best to come with no expectations.

11. Is there an age requirement for a reading? Yes, I do require the reading to be for adults only at this point in time.

12. Please be in a quiet non-distracting place for your reading.

Instructions for payment and time zone information:
All sessions are in CAD dollars and in pacific standard time (PST) and can be done from anywhere in the world. An invoice will be sent to you prior to your reading. Please be ready at your scheduled time. If you are late the time will not be made up. Please email jennymillerjournal@gmail.com with any questions.
Cancellation Policy:
I understand that life happens, and you may need to cancel your appointment, you may re-schedule your appointment free of charge, however, I would ask that you please give me 24 hrs notice, to allow someone else to receive the session. If less than 24 hrs notice, the full fee will apply. Sessions must be scheduled and paid for in advance unless instructed otherwise. Sessions may be canceled with a 100% refund as long as written notice is given 24 hours in advance. Any session canceled without 24 hours notice is non-refundable. Packages are non-refundable. No shows will be charged the full session amount. A session is deemed a no show after 10 minutes of the start time.

​​What is the difference between a psychic reading and a soul reading?
Soul readings are not intended to tell your future, or fortune tell. Your destiny is up to you. With a soul reading Jenny is tuning into your souls essence to bring you validation on your path and may offer you insight around your souls growth, strengths and next steps. Jenny will not make decisions for you in your life. She can help you see possibilities and or different roads to travel. Ultimately all decisions about your life are your decision. Please do not book a soul reading if you are looking for predictions only or what you "should do."​

How is Astrology incorporated into the session?
​If it is suitable for your experience Jenny may incorporate astrology into your session. If you are specifically interested in Astrology please be sure to send your exact time of birth, birth place and date to Jenny prior to your session with her.
Jenny is an astrologer that consults from her learnings from the Blue Rose School of Astrology in Ireland. The Blue Rose is similar to a Mystery School and views Astrology from a spiritual lens. This Astrology is different (forget the typical stereotypes you see in the memes on the internet.) Your natal chart is known as a blueprint for your soul, your gifts and talents. A natal chart is a snapshot of the sky the moment you were born. Astrology can be used to help us find harmony and gain clarity on who we truly are. We will discover your personal psychology, your strengths, patterns and what you are working toward in this life.

Do I need my birth time for an Astrology Reading?
​​The birth time provides the Ascendant (Rising sign), degrees of all planets and points for the house system. If you do not have access to your birth time you can contact the hospital that you were born at (Records Department) and they may be able to locate this information for you. If you do not have this information a soul coaching session can still be done and some of the energy in your astrology chart will still come forward including your moon sign without access to your birth time.

Do you tell my future in a session?
Jenny is not a fortune teller. In a Soul Reading, I will not predict your future. There are always potentials that may manifest in your life. At the end of the day you make all of your own decisions and have free will. I do not give you the answers. What you will receive is confirmation, clarity, and/or guidance. Trust that what comes through in the session is what you need at a soul level.​

Is there a difference between an in-person session and virtual session?​
​No, there is no difference in quality between distance or in-person sessions, energy is omnipresent. I have done wonderful sessions for clients all over the world virtually. Your physical location (distance from my office) is not a factor as this work is energy based.
How do I access our online session?
​A zoom link will be sent out prior to your booking. If you haven't received it within 24hrs of your booking please reach out to Jenny and she will re-send the link. I recommend logging into the free app zoom 5-10 minutes prior to your session to ensure you are connected.
Are sessions recorded?
​Readings can be recorded on zoom please request if you would like it recorded at the start of your session. Jenny may ask that you record it on your end and can make that available to you on zoom. Breathwork sessions will not be recorded. I do encourage clients to take notes during the session or post breathwork session.
How often do you recommend booking a session?
​I leave this completely up to the individual as some are satisfied with one session and others desire more guidance and clarity along their journey. I also find that this can shift over time, sometimes more support is desired, other times one session may suffice.

What is the cancellation policy?
​I understand that life happens, and you may need to cancel your appointment, but, I would ask that you please give me 48 hours notice to allow someone else to receive the session and I would be happy to re-schedule our time together. This is to ensure that both of our time is being valued. If less than 48 hours notice the full fee will apply. For Astrology clients it takes time to prepare your birth chart. You will receive an email reminder within 24 hours of our session together.
